Day 01: Arrival Delhi
Arrival Delhi . Meet and assist on arrival and transfer to hotel. Overnight at in Delhi.
Day 02 : Delhi / Jaipur
After breakfast at Hotel. We proceed to visit Lotus Temple - a place of faith that all visitors must see is the Bahai temple, India Gate- at the centre of the city (42 meter, high stone arch) is a memorial of the Indian soldiers who died in world war-1, President House - built in 1929, once the Imperial residence of the British Viceroys and now official residence of the President of Indian Republic, Parliament House – this circular shaped building houses the two houses of Parliament- The Lok Sabha (lower) & Rajya Sabha (Upper). Its domed central hall is 90 feet in diameter. Rajghat- this is the place where father of Nation Mahatma Gandhi was cremated. Then drive to Jaipur (265 kms, 5:30 hrs.). On arrival check-in at hotel. Overnight stay at Hotel in Jaipur.
Day 03 : Jaipur
Breakfast at Hotel. Proceed for sightseeing visiting Amer Fort - 11 Kms from Jaipur is Amber, the ancient capital of Jaipur state construction of the Fort Palace was constructed in 1652 by Raja Mansingh. Then visit Hawa Mahal (Palaces of the Wind)- a beautiful pink colour building having many small windows from where the Royal Ladies watched the annual procession of kingdom. Lunch at Hotel. Then visit City Palace- was the principle residence of the former ruling family and is known for its stunning architecture. It also includes museum, courtyards, gardens. Also have free time for shopping. Overnight stay at Hotel in at Jaipur.
Day 04: Jaipur / Fatehpur Sikri / Agra
After breakfast drive to Agra, enroute visit Fatehpur Sikri, a red sandstone deserted city built by Akbar around 1570 to commemorate the birth of his son, is probably the halls, palaces and mosque are still in a state of perfection as are the tomb of Salim Chisti and the Buland Darwaza. On arrival Agra check in at hotel. Evening free for shopping / leisure. Agra is famous for leather, Handicraft & Marbal goods. Overnight stay at hotel in Agra.
Day 05 : Agra – Varanasi
After breakfast, proceed for the sightseeing of Agra city and visit world’s most popular monument – Taj Mahal built by Mughal Emperor Shah- Jehan for his Empress Mumtaj Mahal. Then, we proceed for sightseeing tour of magnificent Agra Fort- built at the bank of Yamuna river, is situated in the center of the town. Evening transfer to Railway station to board the Train for Varanasi.
Day 06 : Arrive Varanasi
Arrive Varanasi and transfer to hotel. After wash n fresh & breakfast, we proceed for sightseeing for Bharat Mata Temple, Kali Temple, Banaras Hindu University, Kasi Vishwanath Temple. After lunch excursion to Sarnath, visiting Dhemekha Stupa, Deer Park & Museum. Back to Varanasi. Dinner & overnight stay at hotel in Varanasi.
Day 07 : Varanasi / Bodhgaya
Early morning Boat Cruise on Holy River, the Ganges with picturesque view of Sunrise. Back hotel for breakfast. Then, drive to Bodhgaya (250 Kms / 5 hrs.) with packed lunch. Bodhgaya is the place where prince Siddhartha turned in Gautam Buddha after getting enlightenment. Overnight stay at a hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 08 : Bodhgaya
Full day tour to Bodhgaya visiting Mahabodhi Temple, Sujata Village, Niranjana river, 80 feet high lord Buddha Statue & Various international monasteries. Overnight at a hotel in Bodhgaya.
Day 09 : Bodhgaya / Rajgir – Nalanda / Rajgir / Patna
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Rajgir (65 Kms). Visit Gridhkutta ( Vulture ‘s peak), World Peace Stupa, Venuvanaram & Bimbisar Prison. Drive continue to Nalanda (12 kms) to visit the ruins of world ancient University. It was one of the oldest Universities of the World & International Centre for Buddhist Studies. Thereafter drive to Patna, on arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel in Patna.
Day 10 : Patna - Vaishali - Kushinagar
Early morning drive to Kushinagar (approx 260 Kms / 7 hrs) enroute visiting Vaishali. Lunch will be served en route. On arrival check in at hotel. Overnight stay at a hotel.
Day 11 : Kushinagar / Lumbini
Breakfast at hotel. Proceed for visiting Mahaparinirvana Temple (where Buddha took his last breathe) and Rambhar Stupa (cremation site of lord Buddha) and Japan Temple. After visit drive (170 kms / approx 04 hrs drive) to Lumbini (in Nepal). Kindly obtain double entry visa for India & single entry visa for Nepal). On arrival, check in at hotel. After then visit the Holy Birth place of
Lord Buddha. Overnight stay at hotel in Lumbini.
Day 12 : Lumbini / Sravasti
Breakfast at hotel. Drive to Sravasti (180 kms) Enroute visit Kapilvastu (10 kms) On arrival check in at hotel. Afternoon visit Sahet & Mahet (Capital of ancient kingdom of Kosala, Jetawana Gardens Buddhist temples.
Day 13 : Sravasti – Lucknow – Delhi
After an early breakfast. Drive to Lucknow (170 Kms/4 hrs.). Arrive Lucknow, transfer to Lucknow railway station to catch train for Delhi. Overnight in at Train.
Day 14 : Delhi - Srinagar
Early morning arrive at Delhi, transfer to a hotel for wash and change & breakfast. Then transfer to domestic airport to the flight for Srinagar. On arrival Srinagar, meet and transfer to Deluxe Houseboats. Late afternoon Shikara ride on Dal Lake visiting floating and Vegetable gardens etc. Also witness walnut woodcarving and papier machie making demonstration. Overnight in Deluxe Houseboats.
Day 15 : Srinagar – Gulmarg – Srinagar
Morning drive to Gulmarg (Meadow of Flowers) 2730 Mts. above sea level. Gulmarg has one of the best Ski slopes in the world and highest golf course of the world with 18 holes. One can also have the view of Nanga Parbhat if weather permits. The view enroute from Tangmarg to Gulmarg is fascinating. One can also have a short trek up to Khilang marg which can be covered in about 3 to 4 hrs or enjoy a cable car ride which takes you to the highest point. Evening return to your houseboat for overnight stay.
Day 16 : Srinagar – Moghul Garden – Delhi & Departure
After early breakfast, join a sightseeing trip to Mughal Gardens visiting Nishat Bagh (Abode of pleasure) built by Asif Khan brother in law of Jehangir in 1632 AD. And Shalimar Bagh (Abode of love) built by Jehangir for his wife Empress Noor Jehan. All the gardens are situated on the bank of Dal Lake with the Zabarwan Mountains in the background. En route visit carpet-weaving factory. Lunch at Houseboat. Then drive to Srinagar airport on time to catch the flight for Delhi. On arrival Delhi. Free at your leisure. Timely transfer to IGI airport to connect the flight for onward destination.
