This 72.5 m high red sandstone tower, Qutb Minar was built in the 13th century. It placed few km away from the south of Delhi. Red Fort, Delhi

Keoladeo National Park

The Rock Shelters of Bhimbetka are sited in the foothills of the Vindhyan Mountains and about 45 km south east of Bhopal. Spreaded over 10 km this place has around 700 rock shelters which are displaying paintings that appear to date from the epipaleolithic period to the historical period.
Sanchi

Ajanta Caves, Aurangabad
Situated at a distance of 107 km north of Aurangabad, Ajanta Caves date from the 1st and 2nd century. Ajanta Caves display some of the masterwork of Buddhist religious artform. Later in the Gupta era, many more richly decorated caves were added to the originals.

Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai
The Chhatrapati Shivaji Terminus, Mumbai, was once known as Victoria Terminus Station. The building, designed by the British architect F. W. Stevens, is a fine fusion of Victorian Gothic Revival architecture and Indian traditional architecture.

Mountain Railway of India
This 46 km long metre-gauge single-track railway in Tamil Nadu State, now comes under the Nilgiri Mountain Railway. This 326 m to 2,203 m high construction still in use today. It exhibits the latest technologies of the time.
Pattadakal
This heritage site is placed in Bijapur district of Karnataka. This is the place where former Bijapur king's holly coronation used to take place. Besides Chalukyan architectural activities this sites is also very famous for the blending of the Rekha, Nagara, Prasada and the Dravida Vimana styles of temple building.

Mahabodhi Temple
This newly added heritage site is one of the holy sites which are directly related to the life of Lord Budha. This temple is dated back to 5th or 6th century. In the 3rd century B.C emperor Asoka built the first temple.
Kaziranga National Park
This national park is the only place where you can find such a big populace of mammoth one horned rhino. Besides endangered one horned rhinos you will find barasingha, wild boar, hoolock gibbons, buffaloes and a few other reptile species there.
